Our first stop was Auckland. Here we caught the Kiwi bus down the west coast of New Zealand, stopping off in places like Rotorua, Taupo (where we did the 19km Tongariro Crossing) and Wellington. Once we crossed over to the South Island things got even more beautiful and we visited places such as Nelson and the Abel Tasman (where we did a sky dive), then to places including Franz Josepf, Wanaka and the wonderful Queenstown. The last few days of our trip we travelled up the east coast to find whales and dolphins in Kiakoura and then onto the earthquake struck Christchurch.
